License name : Karaoke sound source event license. Property for use : All released sound sources included in the " EdKara property " list . Target users : Event organizers or exhibitors (individuals or corporations).
・Available events : Offline events *After purchasing a license , you will need to submit a one-time application for usage details (application for event information) before actually using the sound source.

- Play or record the video at the URL listed in the " EdKara Properties " list and use the audio.
Target users:
Offline event organizers, exhibitors, or performers (individuals or corporations)
- Purchases must be made by the organizers, exhibitors, or performers of offline events themselves (adults). In principle, purchases by proxy or on consignment are not permitted.
- An event is an event that invites participants (visitors) and is held for a limited period of time (within six months) and uses audio sources from the "EdKara property."
- An organizer is someone who holds an event.
- An exhibitor is someone who exhibits at an event.
- Performers are people who perform at an event.
- Available only to purchasers.
*Example 1 of inappropriate use: If the organizer purchases the tickets for an event that is recruiting exhibitors, the tickets will not be available for use by the exhibitors (they can only be used on stages etc. organized by the organizer).
*Example of ineligible use 2: If an exhibitor purchases a song at an event that is seeking exhibitors, it cannot be used at other exhibitors' booths or on the organizer's stage (it can only be used at the booth of the exhibitor who purchased it).
*Example of ineligible use 3: If a performer purchases a song at an event that is not seeking exhibitors, other performers cannot use it (it can only be used by the performer who has purchased it).
-If an exhibitor or performer purchases a song, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to make prior arrangements with the organizer, copyright management organization, etc. regarding clearance of the music usage (copyright rights processing), etc.
*If the organizer of an event recruiting exhibitors would like to purchase tickets in bulk for exhibitors, please contact us with the details of the event (event name, event details URL, organizer or exhibitor, number of exhibitors, event start date and time, event end date and time, number of venues, venue capacity, etc.). Available events:
An event for the purpose of offline entertainment. "Offline" means that there is no broadcasting, internet or other communication.
*If you wish to stream an event online, you will need to purchase a separate karaoke audio live streaming license .

● Available number of events:

・One event refers to a specified event being held at one venue for one day or a period of consecutive days.
・Venue refers to the smallest unit of an area, building, or exhibitor booth where event participants can enter at the address where the event is held. The maximum capacity of one venue is 1,000 people.
*Number of licenses required = number of events (select the contract plan according to the duration of the event)
*If the venue capacity exceeds 1,000 people, there are multiple venues, or the event is held over multiple periods (not consecutive days), please refer to the example calculation for the number of events .
Available methods:
Singing in real time by event performers at the event venue
・This license is intended for use primarily by humans singing and event participants listening to the singing.
*Examples of unacceptable uses: Use of audio only with no human singing, use with singing voices that are too quiet, use with singing by Vocaloid, synthetic voices, or AI voices, and any other uses that EdKara deems unacceptable. *If the event performers are virtual characters such as so-called VTubers, who do not actually appear at the event venue, it may be used as long as the singing is done in real time by a human, not an AI, etc.
*It is also possible to use the video only for playing musical instruments without human singing. However , Vtubers are not allowed to use the video only for playing musical instruments.
*Example of available use 1: Performers singing on stage at a concert *Example of available use 2: Participants singing at a karaoke competition event There is no limit to the number of performers. All performers can use it.
*Examples of inappropriate use: Using at a booth other than that of the exhibitor for which it was purchased.
- Playing audio: Play the " EdKara Properties " video or play a recording of your choice.
・This is a license to use the karaoke audio included in the " EdKara Property ." It does not include a license to use the karaoke video (however, the video may be used for the purpose of displaying lyrics to participants at an event venue, as long as it is not recorded).
*Example of what can be used: A karaoke video included in the " EdKara Property " is played and the performers sing along while watching it. At that time, the video is displayed on a display in the venue in order to show the lyrics to the event participants, but the screen of the karaoke video included in the " EdKara Property " is not recorded (however, it is okay if a small part of the karaoke video is reflected in the recording).
*Example of inappropriate use: A karaoke video included in the " EdKara Property " is played and the performers sing along while watching it. At that time, the video is displayed on a display in the venue in order to show the lyrics to the event participants, and the screen of the karaoke video included in the " EdKara Property " is also recorded.
・This is a license for offline events. It does not include a license for live streaming or video posting. For live streaming and video posting, please use the separate " Karaoke Sound Source Live Streaming License " or " Karaoke Sound Source Video Posting License " depending on the content of your use.
・It can be used for commercial purposes (partially) or for non-commercial events.
●Commercial use:
Partially allowed
・Commercial use is permitted only for the following purposes:
-Admission fee: Revenue from admission fees to the event -Physical media sales: Revenue from the sale of physical media containing video data of the event. The sales price must be 1,100 yen (tax included) or more per unit. The production limit is 1,000.
*Commercial activities that are essentially unrelated to the use of the sound recordings (e.g. eating and drinking, selling artist merchandise, etc.) are freely permitted.
*Examples of inappropriate use: Sale of downloads of video or audio recordings of an event. ・Physical media refers to physical recording media such as Blu-Ray, DVD, USB memory, etc.
- Physical media may not be sold for less than 1,100 yen (tax included) each, and may not be distributed free of charge.
- Production refers to the recording of video and audio data from an event onto physical media for the purpose of sale.
- If the production quantity of physical media exceeds 1,000, you will need to purchase an additional lot plan separately.
●Commercial Revenue:
Revenues from Licensee's events belong 100% to Licensee.

● Contract plan (period/expiration date):
The usage period and expiration date vary depending on the plan.
-1-day plan: 1 day period (30 days from purchase)
-7-day plan: 7 days (expiration date: 60 days from purchase)
-30-day plan: 30 days (expiration date: 90 days from purchase)
-180-day plan: 180-day period (365 days from purchase)
*Option: Additional lot plan (Validity: 365 days from purchase)
・The usage period is the period during which the sound source is used at the event. It is not possible to use it at events that exceed the period.
*Example of unavailable periods: If you purchase a 7-day plan, it cannot be used for events that last 20 days (however, it cannot be used for the entire 20 days, but it can be used for any 7 consecutive days of that period).
・The usage period is the period during which the sound source can be used at the event. After the period has expired, it will no longer be possible to use it at the event (the license will expire after the period has expired).
*Example of expiration date: If you purchase a 1-day plan on June 1, 2025, you will not be able to use it after July 2, 2025 (= the expiration date of the 1-day plan is 30 days from the date of purchase, so the license will expire and you will not be able to use it after that date).
- Physical media cannot be produced after the expiration date (however, existing production can still be sold after the expiration date).
*Example of when physical media cannot be used: If you purchase the 7-day plan on October 1, 2025, you will not be able to produce after December 1, 2025. (The 7-day plan expires 60 days after purchase, so the license will expire after that date and you will not be able to produce. However, you will be able to sell existing production after December 1.)
- Each additional lot plan will allow you to add 1,000 more physical media to your production.
・Additional lot plans are optional and can only be purchased by purchasers of the 1-day plan, 7-day plan, 30-day plan, and 180-day plan.

●Delivery items:
None - A license is a "permission to use" and is an intangible product. There is nothing physically delivered.
Refund:
No - Purchased licenses cannot be refunded.
*Example of non-refundable circumstances: After purchasing the license, you did not actually use the sound source.
*Example 2 of a non-refundable item: A scheduled event is canceled.
●Terms of Use:
Use is subject to the EdKara License Terms and Conditions and the EdKara Store Terms of Use .
・By purchasing a license, you agree to the terms of use (including the contents of this page).
- The Terms of Use may be updated from time to time at EdKara's discretion (= Users must always comply with the latest Terms of Use).
● Usage procedure (from purchase to use)
・STEP 0. User registration and login
Please create an EdKara Store account (user registration) here .
*EdKara Store uses the e-commerce system " Shopify (including its third parties; the same applies to the " Shopify " notation from this page onwards). In accordance with " Shopify " specifications, contract management is carried out using user registration, so user registration is required prior to purchase.
*Nicknames are not allowed. User registration is related to purchases (contracts), so please register with your real name. You must also enter your address.
*If you have already registered as a user, please log in here and proceed to the next step.
・STEP 1. Purchase
Purchase a license while logged in (please complete the payment with "Quantity 1" )
*Purchases (including quantity selection) can be made using the button at the top of this page or the button/menu in the banner at the bottom of the screen.
* Only one can be purchased at a time (this is due to the system in which one order ID and one license are managed in pairs. Thank you for your understanding).
*If the venue capacity exceeds 1,000 people, there are multiple venues, or the event is held over multiple periods, please contact us with details (event name, event details URL, organizer or exhibitor, event start date and time, event end date and time, number of venues, venue capacity number of people, etc.) and we will provide you with a quote.
・STEP 2. Application for use (application deadline: within 7 days of purchase)
Please submit the necessary information (event information, etc.) once using the " Karaoke Sound Event License Purchaser Form ."
*Once an application has been submitted, the contents of the application cannot be changed.
*For details on the application items, please check the link (" Form for Karaoke Sound Source Event License Purchasers ").
*If you do not apply within the application deadline after purchase, or if you use the sound source without applying, the license will be invalid in principle. In addition, you may be subject to claims for damages due to unauthorized use.
*If there are any errors in your application or if EdKara deems it unacceptable, you may be asked to resubmit your application using the " Karaoke Sound Event License Purchaser Form " (in this case, your application will not be considered complete at this stage.
*If EdKara determines that the actual usage is inappropriate, it may temporarily or permanently suspend usage even after usage has begun.
・STEP 3. Hold an event (within the purchase plan period)
You can use the sound source at events. Please note that you will not be able to use it after the expiration date of the purchased plan.
●Clearance (copyright rights processing):
The "Karaoke Sound Event License" is a license to use the master recordings of karaoke sounds owned by EdKara. Users must obtain a separate license to use the copyright of the songs at the event.

*When clearance is carried out, if necessary, you may inform the party from whom you are obtaining permission that you have purchased a non-exclusive license to use the karaoke sound sources owned by EdKara, and provide a capture of the order confirmation email as evidence of this.
*The contents of this page (including the section "Clearance (copyright rights processing)") are not legal advice. Users are responsible for carrying out any necessary clearance. EdKara does not support the clearance of copyright use of music, and does not bear any responsibility.
●Other important points:
- If you use the sound source at an event, you must include the credits (indicating that the sound source is from EdKara) and EdKara on the website announcing the event. A YouTube channel or a hyperlink that leads to the video (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/@edkara ) is required.
・Shopify 's EC system is used to provide the license. The behavior of the system is subject to Shopify 's specifications. Shopify 's specifications and terms of use may change from time to time. Users agree to this.
・EdKara is the account holder of the Youtube channel " EdKara " and has outsourced its operation and some of its related business to Biahada Department Store Co., Ltd. (Music Division: Biahada Records). Licensing business is carried out by Biahada Department Store Co., Ltd.
・Even during the contract period, if EdKara judges that the usage is against public order and morals or is otherwise inappropriate and notifies the user to that effect, the user shall immediately discontinue use without raising any objections. Furthermore, EdKara and our company shall not be held liable in any way for any damage suffered by the user as a result.
*Even during the contract period, some or all of the videos included in the " EdKara Properties " may become hidden, deleted, muted, etc., and may become temporarily or permanently unavailable due to changes in specifications or termination of services by third parties, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, the user shall not raise any objections. Furthermore, EdKara and our company shall not be held liable in any way.
*The User is required to confirm the content of the hyperlinks on this page before making a purchase.
* In principle, EdKara will contact users regarding the provision of licenses using an email address with the edkara.jp domain. Please set your email software in advance so that it does not reject emails (however, due to Shopify specifications, emails may be sent from a different email address).
・In cases where there are deficiencies in the application content, EdKara may contact the user to confirm the usage status or for other reasons. In such cases, the user must respond in good faith without delay. If the user's response is contrary to public order and good morals and dishonest, such as if the user does not respond despite multiple contacts or after a certain grace period has elapsed, EdKara may investigate the usage status or take other measures that EdKara deems necessary. In such cases, EdKara may claim damages from the user for expenses incurred by EdKara (including but not limited to labor costs and other actual expenses).
・We may take immediate legal action against unauthorized use. In addition, in the event of unauthorized use, we may immediately revoke the license. In the event of license expiration, the user must cease using the license (including but not limited to destroying any physical media containing the " EdKara Properties "), with retroactive effect on past use.
