Video works for entertainment purposes - A video work is a work such as a movie or drama in which multiple performers (actors, voice actors, etc.) each play a role in a script, and is composed of images and audio.
*This license does not cover so-called "cover songs" videos (please use the " Karaoke Audio Video Submission License ").
*Examples of acceptable video works: human drama, romance, action, mystery, science fiction, animation, etc. *Examples of unacceptable video works: video works related to politics, religion, etc.
● Number of available videos:

・One film refers to one film work based on one script.
●Available methods:
・Sound use: Karaoke singing within a video work or background music (no singing)
*The length of the audio used must be less than one-fifth of the total length of the video work.
・Video release: Offline screenings at cinemas etc. (paid/free), online streaming (paid/free), downloads (paid)
*Free downloads and distribution of physical media to an unspecified number of people are prohibited. (It is okay to distribute samples to a few specific people involved.)
*To purchase physical media, you will need to purchase the separate "Physical Media Sales Option" for this license.

・Commercial use is permitted only for the following purposes:

*The sales price must be 1,100 yen (tax included) or more per bottle.
- (Optional) Physical Media Sales: Revenue from the sale of physical media containing the video work data.
*The sales price must be 1,100 yen (tax included) or more per unit. The production limit is 10,000.
*Commercial activities that are essentially unrelated to the use of the sound source (e.g., food and beverage businesses at the screening venue, sales of artist merchandise, etc.) are free to be carried out without any problems.
・Physical media refers to physical recording media such as Blu-Ray, DVD, USB memory, etc.
- Physical media cannot be sold for less than 1,100 yen (tax included) per unit, and cannot be distributed free of charge.
- Production refers to the recording of video data onto physical media for the purpose of sale.
- If the production quantity of physical media exceeds 10,000, you will need to purchase an additional physical media sales option.

All revenue from Licensee's events belongs 100% to Licensee.

*Examples of services we cannot provide: video production support, recording support, customizing audio sources, customizing license details, song requests, obtaining copyright permission for songs, copyright research, and legal advice.
●Delivery items:
None - A license is a "permission to use" and is an intangible product. Nothing is physically delivered.
●Refund:
No - Purchased licenses cannot be refunded.
*Example 1 of non-refundable licenses: After purchasing the license, you did not actually use the sound source.
*Example 2 of non-refundable tickets: The planned release of a film is cancelled.
●Terms of Use:
Use is subject to compliance with the EdKara License Terms of Use and the EdKara Store Terms of Use .
・By purchasing a license, you agree to the terms of use (including the contents of this page).
・The Terms of Use may be updated from time to time at EdKara's discretion (= Users must always comply with the latest Terms of Use).
●Usage procedure (from purchase to use)
・STEP 0. User registration and login
Please create an EdKara Store account (user registration) here .
*EdKara Store uses the e-commerce system " Shopify " (including its third parties; the same applies to " Shopify " from this page onwards). In accordance with " Shopify " specifications, contract management is carried out using user registration, so user registration is required prior to making a purchase.
*Nicknames are not permitted. User registration is related to purchases (contracts), so please register using your real name. You must also enter your address.
*If you have already registered as a user, please log in here and proceed to the next step.
・STEP 1. Purchase
Purchase a license while logged in (please complete payment with "Quantity 1" )
*Purchases (including quantity selection) can be made using the button at the top of this page or the button/menu in the banner at the bottom of the screen.
*Only one item can be purchased at a time (this is due to the system that manages one order ID and one license as a pair. Thank you for your understanding).
・STEP 2. Application for use (application deadline: within 7 days of purchase)
Please submit the necessary information (video work information, etc.) once using the " Form for Karaoke Audio/Video Work License Purchasers ."
*Once an application has been submitted, it is not possible to change the application details .
*For details on the application items, please check the link (" Form for purchasers of Karaoke audio and video works licenses ").
*If you do not apply within seven days of purchase, or if you use the sound source without applying, the license will be invalid in principle. You may also be subject to a claim for damages due to unauthorized use.
*If there are any errors in the application or if EdKara deems it unacceptable, you may be asked to resubmit the application using the "Karaoke Sound Source Event License Purchaser Form" (in this case, the application will not be considered complete at this stage).
*If EdKara determines that the actual usage is inappropriate, it may temporarily or permanently suspend usage even after it has begun.
・STEP 3. Release your video work (within the purchase plan period)
You can use the sound source in video works. Please note that if you do not release the video work within the expiration date of your purchased plan, the license will expire and you will no longer be able to use it.
●Clearance (copyright rights processing):
The "Karaoke Audio Visual Work License" is a license for the use of the karaoke master recordings owned by EdKara. Users must separately obtain a license for the copyright of the music to be used in their video work.

*When clearance is carried out, if necessary, it is acceptable to inform the party obtaining permission that you have purchased a non-exclusive license to use EdKara's karaoke sound sources, and to provide a capture of the order confirmation email as evidence.
*The contents of this page (including the section "Clearance (Copyright Rights Processing)") are not legal advice. Users are responsible for carrying out any necessary clearances. EdKara does not support the clearance of copyright use of music, and does not bear any responsibility.
●Other important points:
・When using the sound source at an event, please include the credit information (indicating that EdKara's sound source is being used) and EdKara on the website announcing the event. A YouTube channel or a hyperlink that links to the video (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/@edkara ) is required.
・Shopify 's e-commerce system is used to provide the license. The system's behavior is subject to Shopify specifications. Shopify 's specifications and terms of use may change from time to time. Users acknowledge this.
・EdKara is the account holder of the YouTube channel " EdKara ", and has outsourced its management and some related business to Biahada Department Store Co., Ltd. (Music Division: Biahada Records). Licensing business is carried out by Biahada Department Store Co., Ltd.
・Even during the contract period, if EdKara determines that the usage is contrary to public order and morals or is otherwise inappropriate and notifies the user, the user shall immediately discontinue use without raising any objections. Furthermore, EdKara and our company shall not be liable for any damages suffered by the user as a result.
*Even during the contract period, some or all of the videos included in the " EdKara Properties " may be hidden, deleted, muted, etc., and may become temporarily or permanently unavailable due to changes in specifications or service termination by third parties, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, users shall not raise any objections. Furthermore, EdKara and our company shall not bear any responsibility whatsoever.
*The user is required to confirm the content of the hyperlinks on this page before making a purchase.
*In principle, EdKara will contact users regarding the provision of licenses using an email address with the edkara.jp domain. Please make sure that your email software does not block emails from being sent to you (however, due to Shopify 's specifications, emails may be sent from a different email address).
- EdKara may contact the user to confirm usage status or for other reasons, such as if there are any deficiencies in the application details. (For example, if an agent or trustor purchases the service and the agent or trustor does not respond, we may contact the singer, talent, or artist who actually uses the service.) In such cases, the user must respond promptly and in good faith. If the user's behavior is contrary to public order and good morals and dishonest, such as if the user does not respond despite multiple attempts or after a certain grace period has elapsed, EdKara may investigate usage status or take other action deemed necessary by EdKara. In such cases, EdKara may claim damages from the user for expenses incurred by EdKara (including, but not limited to, labor costs and other actual expenses).
- We may take immediate legal action against any unauthorized use. Furthermore, in the event of unauthorized use, we may immediately terminate your license. Upon license termination, you must cease use of the license (including, but not limited to, destroying any physical media containing the " EdKara Properties "), retroactively affecting any past use.
